SECONDARY ANALYSIS OF IR AND INR WORKFORCE REVIEW

ROYAL AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND COLLEGE OF RADIOLOGISTS

We worked with RANZCR to conduct a comprehensive examination of existing workforce data to assess the current landscape and future needs of interventional radiology (IR) and interventional neuroradiology (INR) professionals. This analysis aimed to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities within the workforce, taking into consideration factors such as geographic distribution, training pathways, and career progression. By leveraging previously collected data, the review provided critical insights to inform strategic planning, ensuring that RANZCR can effectively address workforce demands and support the growth and sustainability of these specialised fields.
