COMMUNITY SERVICE EVALUATION

STEPPING STONE CLUBHOUSE

ehc co-designed a two-year evaluation with Stepping Stone Clubhouse, a not-for-profit organisation that offers a psychosocial rehabilitation service for Clubhouse members with mental illness. The aim of the evaluation was to help capture the impact of the Stepping Stone Clubhouse on members’ physical and mental wellbeing, social participation, and civic participation and support the Clubhouse to communicate the impact of Stepping Stone on members to funding bodies, current and prospective members and other people interested in understanding Stepping Stone. We developed an Evaluation Framework, with input from members and staff, to appropriately collect data on the process and impact outcomes of the service. We captured data (over three waves of data collection) through member surveys and in-depth qualitative interviews to understand the impacts of the service on employment, education, housing, quality of life and recovery journey progress. The findings from this comprehensive evaluation informed future improvements and ensure the service continues to meet the needs of its members effectively.
