ehc worked with Mission Australia to explore the feasibility and scalability of The Prioirty Project, an innovative pilot program that prioritises private rentals for women who have experienced domestic family violence in two pilots sites: Queensland and Western Sydney. This project involved assessing the need and demand of housing; critical barriers, enablers and service model components; and understanding the early impacts of the pilot, including safety, accessibility and wellbeing outcomes for women. We employed a mixed-methods approach: capturing data through surveys and qualitative interviews to elucidate the impacts of the program. We are currently working with the founding partners and pilot site leads to determine the future scalability of the program.
