HUNTER NEW ENGLAND LOCAL HEALTH DISTRICT

ehc supported the development of a text message delivered program to support postnatal women in first 2,000 days of their child’s life. We worked with staff from the Hunter New England Local Health District to conduct user engagement activities to design a tailored program that sits within their broader service delivery framework. We listened to postnatal women, mapping their journey and understanding their reactions to proposed text messages. We also talked with midwives and child and health nurses to understand how the program can support and extend the reach of the care they provide for these women.
